Series of negative photographs made with a homemade ‘pinhole camera’ and light-sensitive paper. Through a simple device, fleeting substances such as light and time are recorded and imprinted onto a black and white image. Each photograph holds two images and respectively two separate moments in time exposed by the sunlight. The halo effect around each image was created by obstructing the aperture of the pinhole camera, as light is unable to pass through, the paper remains untainted and unmarked. As each tiny pixel of black pigment forms on the light-sensitive paper, the figures of buildings and architecture slowly appear.
